August 10 2008 Diane Plans a Visit to India

Hi M,
I thought I sent you a mail a few days ago, but maybe it didn’t get out.  The good news is, the visa is supposed to be ready next week.  The bad news is I just found out today I have an administrative engagement on the 20th, no way to get out of it.  That means I will not get out of here until the 21st most likely, although I’ll check for later flights.  I will still figure on staying until the 7th at least, longer if I can manage it.

I am definitely experiencing burnout, no doubt about it.  Still, everyone else in the house was also sick so I’m not uniquely rundown.  Lots of quite exciting things are starting to open up these days.  Hopefully the fruits of 4 long years of labor!

Really looking forward to seeing you.  If you decide to go back to Mussoorie, I can catch the train up to Dera Dun, no problem.  It would be a long, long drive for you there and back just to meet me.
